What I think this means is that a person who keeps up & never gives up on his or her goal, will be on the right path. This person would be successful & dedicated to his or her decision. This person will not take the easy path & ruin his/her goal.

What I think this phrase means is that a person who is in success by money needs to have rest, wake up early (and be punctual). They have to be responsible, respectful, basically, this person is a very good companion, & won't let you down no matter whenever or wherever.
